Landing Home is a definite MUST SEE! As a combat veteran myself, I found my own story in many aspect of the lead character, it was healing for me to see how far I have come and see what I actually fought through! For those who have not had personal experience, and even those who have, you can begin to understand the pain and difficulty adjusting to life after the war. Veterans come home but it has changed while gone and it affects a person in many different ways. Douglas Taurel did a fabulous job portraying that when he would continuously change the furniture back to the way it was, hoping that his life could go back to the way it was. This is as up close and personal as you can get to see how difficult it is for a transitioning veteran without being a fly on the wall. You feel and live the ups and downs of this roller coaster! Amazing, amazing production! BRAVO!

I wanted to let you know that I just finished watching Landing Home. I have a son who served in the Army and he doesn’t talk much about his time but seems to be handling coming home ok or at least that’s what I think. He did one tour in Afganistan and I am not sure what he has or has not done, or seen, as he doesn’t talk much about his time there. Your movie really depicts what it is like for some of these soldiers and their families entering back into civilian life and gives the rest of us a better understanding of how much they really go through and sacrifice on a daily basis so that we can have OUR freedom
